Did you know - vehicles used in the war in Ukraine have a lifespan of just 3 months, meaning they are in short supply. All-terrain vehicles such as off-roading trucks and 4x4s are especially needed.

Just a few days ago, Choose Leisure's owner, Jenny, and her friend Suzanne set off on the journey across borders to donate a 4x4 to aid those fighting in the war in Ukraine. Carefully chosen, checked over by our workshop's mechanics, Dave and Chris, and sprayed in NATO green by Paul, it was packed full of practical supplies essential for those on the ground.

As part of a 38-strong convoy, Jenny and Suzanne handed over the vehicle directly, knowing it would soon be put to good use in the humanitarian efforts amidst the ongoing war in Ukraine.

This mission was in collaboration with Pickups for Peace, a remarkable charity started by farmers, which has already donated over 400 vehicles to Ukraine. We’re honored to support their work and encourage everyone to consider contributing via their JustGiving page.

Meanwhile, a second vehicle we donated was collected by lorry, also destined for Ukraine.
